Alternative Transport Options
Joe Duffy Land Rover understand the importance and time involved in servicing and maintaining your vehicle. We have various alternative transportation options including service hire vehicles, to meet the various needs of all our valued customers.
Please note, given the demand for hire vehicles and other alternative transport options, we advise you make your alternative transport requirements known to us at the time of booking your scheduled service appointment. It is recommended that you do this at least two weeks ahead of your desired appointment time. Often times the wait for vehicles can be 2-3 weeks long.
HIRE CAR — €40 + VAT PER DAY
Hire Car must be returned:
• with the same level of fuel provided to you
• in same condition of cleanliness provided to you
• Any tolls/fines incurred are drivers’ responsibility
• Please inform us if any damage was caused to vehicle
• Our hire cars are strictly NO SMOKING
• There may be charges incurred if failing to meet any of these
requirements
We offer Manual, Automatic, Diesel & Plug in Electric Hybrid (PHEV) Vehicles for hire.
BUS LINES OPERATING IN THE AREA
If you would prefer to make use of public transport or need to travel further, then please ask our team for recommendations on the local bus routes operating in the area. We can make recommendations on how best to reach your destination by public transport, and can drop you to a bus stop in the locality.

LIFT LOCALLY
If you are working or living locally, then ask our team if they can assist with a lift somewhere local. Please note, this courtesy is subject to staff availability, if you can make us aware at the time of booking that you would like a lift then we will do our very best to assist. Thank you for understanding this may not always be possible, particularly during busy hours, and we recommend you make you book in advance so we can make sure we have staff to assist.
COLLECT & DELIVER
Did you know we can also collect & deliver your vehicle where necessary? If this is an option that suits you best, then please make our service booking team aware of your needs in advance. Please note, this service is subject to staff availability. Additional charges may apply, depending on location.
CALL A TAXI
If you would prefer to take a Taxi to your destination, then we can call a taxi for you. Just ask any of our staff to place that call for you.
Alternatively, if you would prefer, you are welcome to wait in our showroom until your car is ready.
We have comfortable sofas, free WiFi, a TV and good coffee, to make you feel at ease while you wait in our showroom.
